Based on the findings of the RPD Strategy Conference (September 2021) and the positive feedback from last year's digital networking events (April 2022 and June 2022), the leading team of the network "Research and Practice in Dialogue - International Youth Work", organized another Digital Networking Event on the 28th of March 2023 with the participation of 15 professionals of the field of International Youth Work and additional associated fields of work.

Firstly, a brief insight was given into the "Research and Practice in Dialogue - International Youth Work" (RPD)  network. Secondly, the networking event focused on bringing together the perspectives of different professionals, as well as emphazising the importance of the joint identification of research needs and practical project ideas. Thirtly, the revelance of opportunities and possible opportunites for the further development of the field of work were discussed.

As part of the networking event, the findings of the RPD-project "International Narratives of International Youth Work" (2022 - available for download shortly) were presented by the scientific lead and researcher of the project Prof. Dr. Benjamin Bunk (Justus Liebig University Giessen). The project aimed to examine the structural and societal embedding and explanatory logistics of International Youth Work in Turkey, Poland and the US.  The initial findings of the project and the consequential questions were discussed by the participants who also brought up further new discussion ideas.

• Professionalization
• Generational change
